Financial Planning

Laying the groundwork for optimal business development

By establishing clear financial goals and creating a strategic plan to achieve them, our integrated financial planning services play a critical role in guiding businesses towards success.

Our approach involves analyzing recent financial data against initial projections to track progress and assess performance. Additionally, we help define the valuation of your business, streamlining processes for improved clarity and efficiency.

We offer customized financial models tailored to the specific needs of each company. These integrated models are designed for easy adaptation to changing business circumstances, providing flexibility in decision-making.

Furthermore, our services include the development of a controlling model based on the financial plan. This model serves as a tool to evaluate success and identify deviations, offering guidance to steer the company in the right direction.

What you get

Process steps

  • 1

Conceptual design and analyses of model requirements

We kick off the financial planning process by analyzing the requirements of the financial model based on the company's business model, previous financial models, and future business plans. Together, we design the underlying concept of the model and define the necessary outputs required to reflect the financial development of the company.

  • 2

Creation of the financial planning model's first draft

Based on the conceptual design and model requirements, we create an integrated financial model. To facilitate its integrated structure and potential use as a controlling model, we base the model on an underlying account mapping and employ a flexible input of assumptions.

  • 3

Fine-tuning with multiple iterations of input, feedback and improvements

After the initial draft is presented to the portfolio company, we iteratively enhance financial planning through multiple feedback and input loops. We implement requested changes and incorporate relevant assumptions regarding the expected future development of the business.

  • 4

Handover of the final financial planning model

At the end of the process, we hand over the finalized financial planning model to the management. The entire model, including its structure and calculations, is explained in detail, enabling the company to implement changes independently.
