Liquidity Management

Holding on to essentials during turbulent times

One of the most vital aspects for any business, particularly startups, is liquidity. The availability of ample financial resources to fulfill the company’s commitments is critical to its well-being. Thus, effective liquidity management is essential to ensure that funds are allocated judiciously and timely.

We offer comprehensive support in liquidity management. We identify potential liquidity bottlenecks early on, fostering transparency to react accordingly. Through regular meetings with management, we continuously assess and adjust forecasts, facilitating informed decision-making. This dynamic approach allows us to counteract via internal liquidity-releasing strategies and explore external refinancing options as necessary, thereby fortifying your financial resilience.

Process steps

  • 1

    Analysis of status-quo

To provide your company with comprehensive liquidity management support, we analyze the current status-quo of the company's liquidity situation. This allows us to identify and understand relevant drivers and their impact on the company's liquidity.

  • 2

Preparation of 13-week liquidity forecast tool

Based on the financial data provided by your company, we plan liquidity-relevant deposits and outgoing payments over the next 13 weeks. For this, we use financial and business plannings, as well as historic financials. If necessary, we include further planning sheets in the forecast tool, to allow for an integrated liquidity forecast.

  • 3

    Regular one-on-one meetings

Should the analysis of the financial data in the 13-week liquidity forecast tool show relevant negative developments, we recommend and conduct regular weekly or even daily one-on-one meetings to monitor these developments and identify concerning liquidity drivers that require increased attention.

  • 4

    Support with relevant counter-measures

In case of relevant negative developments and the identification of concerning liquidity drivers, we support the management by recommending suitable internal and external counter-measures to improve the liquidity and to cope with these troubled times.
