VC Hotspots
This view maps European VC industry hotspots for the selected month. Countries are shaded according to their number of announced venture funding rounds, with darker colors indicating higher activity. The date slicer allows users to switch between months; the map updates accordingly and highlights where deal flow is currently concentrated across Europe.
Largest VC-Round
This view puts the largest funding round per month in the spotlight. For each selected month, the table displays the company, its founding location, core industries, a short description of the business model, funding stage and investor syndicate, as well as the disclosed deal size in USD. The date slicer above allows users to select one or multiple months; for each of these months, exactly one record – the largest round – is shown.
Largest Seed-Round
This view highlights the largest Seed round per month within the selected period. For each month, the table shows the company, founding location, operating industries, a short business description, investor syndicate and the disclosed Seed ticket size in USD. The date slicer allows users to select one or multiple months; for each of these months, the Seed round with the highest disclosed funding amount is shown.
Exit per Stage
This view shows the last funding stage of exited companies in the selected period, measured by the number of exits. The donut segments represent the final stage reached before exit (from Pre-Seed up to Series D plus “Venture – Series Unknown”), with labels indicating both the absolute exit count and its percentage share. The date range slider above lets users focus on specific windows and immediately see how the distribution of exits across funding stages changes over time.
Total Exits
This view tracks the total number of exits over time, split into acquisitions and IPOs. Each column represents one month within the selected date range; the dark segment shows the number of acquisitions, while the light green segment on top reflects the number of IPOs. The date slider lets users focus on any period of interest, with the chart updating dynamically to show how exit activity develops month by month.
PE-Acquisitions
This view tracks the number of PE-backed acquisitions over time and their share of all investment rounds in the market. This view highlights the largest (known) PE acquisition per month in the selected period. For each month, the table displays the acquired company, its industry, a short business description, headquarters location, the acquiring PE firm, and the transaction value including currency. The date slicer allows users to select one or multiple months; for each selected month, only the largest disclosed PE-backed acquisition is shown.

This view tracks the number of private-equity-backed acquisitions over time.
